Public hospitals seem to have been forgotten. It's important that emergency responders be defined to include the Important hospital workers from public hospitals to ensure those stay operating.
If production in all sectors (except preventive care like surgical) is halfed for 2months, there is possibility of creating safe work environment.
Half the workforce will work for one day and half will work on the other.
Due to reduced workforce, chances of transmitting the diseases will reduce.

As this is new territory for all, it would be nice to have specific examples for employers on how to handle each situation that needs to be covered. While every situation is circumstantial, it would be nice to have a guide for all 6 items and how it should be handled and what that employee should be paid.
As an employee what are my responsibilities and rights regarding this act?
Is there anything I have to do on my part?
Do si need to fill out any paper work?
Does this apply to full time and part time employees?
During a pandemic such as Covid-19, where parents/caretakers/guardians cannot find or do not have care due to schools/daycares, and adult daycares being shut down, they should be able to get paid by their employer or be able to seek unemployment. Also, they should not receive any retaliation from their place of employment.
Please provide an 800 number with adequate staffing (assume there are lots of USDOL folks who can handle phone lines remotely) to provide workers with information about how to handle application for EFMLA benefits. This is critical.
