Physical therapist

Physical therapy outpatient clinics should be allowed to reopen using all compliance with safety & disinfecting precautions. Patients should continue to wear masks as should the healthcare provider until we are told otherwise by out institution & unfortunately, our Governor. I think too Pres. Trump should intervene & tell Dr. Fauci to shut up now & gradually deal with the upticks & open up businesses. We're hemorrhaging... more »

owner

I am the owner of a learning center, we had to close because due to the known situation and we all went to quarantine, although we wanted in a great effort and a lot of protection care to remain open offering the service to parents, very few children attended the days after the government ordinance, so in the absence of children we were forced to close as well.

Please I believe that due to the logical prolongation of... more »

Incentive trending idea

Returning to work should involve a transitional weaning off public support so that not all support is withdrawn immediately!

A defined transitional period , say 6 months, for business to return to previous standards should be given to allow them a fair chance to keep their business viable.

one-size-does-not-fit-all

I think it's important to take all needs into consideration. Yes, we can open in a smart, safe way, but some cannot take the risk and there should be reasonable provisions for everyone. Consider immuno-compromised individuals who may not be able to interact with the public, even with a mask and gloves. There needs to be a safe way to allow people to make that choice for themselves. Just like it would be too restrictive... more »

Reopen using LOCAL, SCIENTIFIC guidelines

If a locality is showing signs of flattening the curve or a declining curve, then cautiously reduce lock-down restrictions.

If a locality (city, county) is NOT showing these signs continue in the lock-down mode until it does.

Do NOT use national or state curves to guide decisions to reduce lock-down restrictions for entire states or the entire country.

Nursing homes' Mobile Dental Services

There have been no clear-cut,specific return to Covid-19 hotspot work zone nursing homes safety guidelines by no one;not the ADA,not the CDC,nor OSHA,not the HHS, nor NIH, NOR CMS, nor Ombudsman, NO ONE has addressed this neglected issue with regard to dentists that provide Mobile Dental Services as 3rd party contractors inside nursing homes directly in "serving the underserved" elderly resident-patients. There should... more »

Constitutional Common Sense

Allow immediate reopening. Allow businesses to decide the reasonable rate of ramping up. Do not attempt to micro-manage opening from the federal level, rather provide a period of support as the people do the work of opening. Continue unemployment without strict rules for qualification, support those who must remain home. Allow states freedom within these parameters. Suggest that states involve health care providers in... more »

Reopening business with consideration for the safety of workers and consumers alike

Without universal, regular, and reliable testing, workers and consumers have no basis for confidence that entering a business to work or consume a product or service is safe. Similarly, without reliable life saving treatments and vaccines against COVID-19, reopening is a reckless proposition for the public generally. If businesses are confident about their ability to protect their workers and consumers, it's hard to imagine... more »

Getting employees back to work

Have been hearing about employers offering employees their job back and employees refusing. Once an employer determines the employees they want to offer back their employment positions there needs to be a way of an employer to notify unemployment to terminate unemployment according to date of return.

Social Distance Until We Can Verify Immunity

We have all sacrificed and worked hard just to limit the number of new infections. Healthcare workers have learned a lot about how to treat the illness. Lots of people have had mild and short cases that seem to be COVID19 but haven't been tested because we are just getting up to speed on testing mild cases. Even those people have been advised to isolate by their doctors. The disease is so virulent that it has taken all... more »

Business Protocol

To emerge a stronger business community, I organized a local COVID Business Advisory made up of a diverse cross section of the business community. Tasked with being the voice of business, they are sharing thoughts, concerns and ideas for a strategy moving from survival to recovery to sustainability to resiliency. The team started meeting this week to get prepped for what we expect is next step re-open phase. 1 idea- The... more »
