Accommodating vulnerable populations is very broad. Over 70% of disabilities are not visible. Vulnerable populations extend to mental health as well as physical health and also to caretakers. Many in these categories are likely to be reluctant to reveal the need for an accommodation for fear of outright discrimination and also for fear of well-meaning, but still discriminatory, different treatment. It is important that communication about accommodations is made to ALL employees. For example, please don't create a blanket policy based on age and then only communicate to that group.
Then, be very clear that asking about the process of asking for an accommodation. How much you need to share and who sees it. Be very clear with people managers about managing inclusively. They will need likely need more resources and guidance.
